A discreet and internationally active Single Family Office is seeking a highly experienced General Counsel & COO to oversee the legal, operational, and governance affairs of a UHNW family and their personal investment portfolio. The role offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of law, finance, and private wealth, supporting a sophisticated and multi-jurisdictional asset base.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for legal oversight across a diverse portfolio of investments, including private equity, real estate, listed securities, and alternative assets. You will manage external counsel relationships, ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and provide strategic legal input on transactions, structuring, and governance. As COO, you will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the family office, including financial reporting, service provider management, and coordination with tax, fiduciary, and banking partners.

This role requires a UK or Swiss-qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with extensive post-qualification experience, ideally gained in private practice and within a family office, private investment firm, or UHNW advisory environment. Discretion, integrity, and a deep understanding of cross-border legal and operational frameworks are essential.
