The Role

As General Counsel, you will be the firm’s most senior legal advisor, responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory and governance matters across the business. You’ll work closely with the C-Suite and investment professionals, providing strategic counsel and enabling the firm’s continued growth. Responabilites will include;

  • Lead and manage all legal aspects of infrastructure investments, including M&A, joint ventures, project finance, and asset management.
  • Advise on fund structuring, capital raising, and investor relations, including regulatory compliance (SEC, CFTC, etc.).
  • Oversee corporate governance, board matters, and internal policies.
  • Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets.
  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives from a legal and regulatory perspective.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, balancing risk with commercial opportunity.

About You

  • You’ll be a senior in-house lawyer with significant experience in-house and private practice.
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure, energy or private equity.
  • Deep knowledge of investment transactions, regulatory frameworks and fund structures.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at board level.
  • US-qualified lawyer (NY Bar preferred).
